McArthur long barracks - west point, NY

The McArthur Long Barracks is a historic building housing our most promising future officers at West Point. SEP was engaged to significantly harden the building to protect the soldiers from any sort of threat. SEP came up with a completely new system to reinforce the column to slab joints without destructive repair of the slab or reduction of ceiling heights. We used flexible fiber reinforced polymer hardened to the strength of rebar, wrapped around the joints.
