VERSAILLES SUR LA MER INVESTIGATION
Melbourne Beach, FL

In September 2017, Hurricane Irma delivered wind and rain to Florida’s Space Coast.  The Versailles property, constructed in 1981 and situated on a coastal site, was subject to the storm event. Our forensics, litigation support, and expert witness services assisted the Versailles Association and their counsel by performing investigative and analytical forensic services to differentiate storm damage from pre-existing conditions. The challenge led us to utilize actual hourly meteorological data along with forensic engineering to determine structural response to wind and moisture as a function of time and direction. As part of our scope, we also reviewed other expert reports and prepared written rebuttals and deposition.
