WASTEWATER REPLACEMENT PLANT AT USMA*
West Point, NY

New $100 Million wastewater treatment plant for West Point Military Academy consisting of complete process structures, tanks, and support facilities as well as operations and learning center integrated with the functionality of the plant. Project is designed as LEED Silver and, due to difficult sub-soil conditions, is detailed for seismic performance requirements. The structures are constructed of masonry and reinforced concrete with a combination of hollow-core diaphragms and FRP framing to provide long-term serviceability from chemical attacks.
